Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This policy is written specifically for VLiva and explains the project’s privacy approach in plain language.

Privacy Principles

VLiva is built with a local-first mindset.

  • Keep data on the user device whenever possible.
  • Avoid unnecessary collection of personal information.
  • Do not sell user data.
  • Request permissions only when a feature needs them.

Website Information Processing

When accessing https://vliva.tamkungz.me, routine technical information may be processed by hosting infrastructure, such as request metadata, browser type, and basic device/network details.

This information is used for website delivery, security, reliability, and performance improvements.

Application Data Handling

VLiva does not require account registration to use core features.

The app is designed so model control, animation logic, and tracking workflows run locally on your system.

Camera Access and Face Tracking

Some features need camera permission.

  • Permission is requested by your operating system.
  • Without permission, related features are disabled.
  • Permission can be revoked at any time in system settings.

Face-tracking output is used for real-time function only and is not uploaded by default.

User Assets and Content

Users manage their own models and project assets.

VLiva does not provide a cloud upload pipeline for user models, recordings, or private media as part of normal app use.

Optional Network Features

If you enable optional network-based functionality, only data required for that feature is transmitted to the endpoint you configure.

The app does not bundle ad networks or cross-app profiling SDKs.

Logs and Support

Diagnostic logs may exist locally for troubleshooting.

  • Logs stay on your device unless you decide to share them.
  • The developer has no automatic remote access to local logs.

Data Retention and Removal

Because processing is primarily local, data retention is mostly controlled by you.

You can remove app data by deleting local files and/or uninstalling the app, depending on platform behavior.

Incident Response

If a confirmed incident causes unintended exposure of user information, a notice will be provided through appropriate project channels.

Policy Updates

This page may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision.
